Terms of Service

ALYGN is a work operating system for managing goals, initiatives, projects, tasks, calendars, reports, and related collaboration features for business and personal workspaces.

We may update, change, or discontinue features from time to time. We will try to avoid unreasonable disruption but do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available forever.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you join a company workspace, your admin may control access, roles, and content visibility.

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorised to use
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service except where permitted by law
• Upload malware or content that infringes others' rights

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the Service and users.

You (or your organisation) retain ownership of content you submit to ALYGN ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Customer Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

Optional integrations (such as Google Calendar) are provided by third parties and subject to their terms and privacy policies. When you connect Google Calendar, you authorise ALYGN to access and use Google data only as needed to sync calendar events you create or update in ALYGN, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for third-party services' availability, accuracy, or policies. You can disconnect integrations at any time in Settings.

If you use a business workspace, Customer Content may be visible to other members according to roles configured by your organisation. Your organisation is responsible for its internal policies and for users it invites.

ALYGN, including software, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service except as allowed by these Terms or written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR MYR 100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US).

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your Customer Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimer, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Malaysia will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
